EyeTimer comes with special tamper-evident tape that, when removed, creates a visible mark. Parents tape the TV plug into the EyeTimer Switch (see diagram, right). For added security, we recommend that parents sign their names on the EyeTimer tamper-proof tape. Such a system is nearly 100% tamper proof for even the most mischievous children.
Some parents, for added security or safety reasons, may prefer to contain their EyeTimer Switch units in a lockable enclosure. A simple and effective device can be made in under 10 minutes using ordinary household tools. All components can be purchased at Lowes for approximately $24.00. One EyeTimer Enclosure accommodates one Switch. |
